Nellie Mildred Turner

Funeral for Nellie Mildred Turner, 80, of Somerville was Wednesday, May 28, at 2 p.m. at Somerville Church of God with the Revs. John Walker and Pearl Jenkins officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Turner died Saturday, May 24, 2003, in Birmingham. She was born Jan. 27, 1923, in Morgan County to Ernest Winton and Carrie Murphy Winton. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Somerville Church of God and the Eastern Star. She was the widow of Ovie Turner.
She is survived by two daughters, Abaleen Turner Edmonson and Vanessa Turner, both of Birmingham; one sister, Lucille Crow of Somerville; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
