7 and 8-year old results
The Mets, Yankees and Braves each scored more than 15 runs in one game during a offensive-minded second week for the 7 and 8-year olds.
Braves 11, Diamondbacks 5
Garrett Fowler had three singles, two RBIs and three runs scored to lead the Braves.
James Glenn and Brandon Roberts also had three singles for the winners, while Quintin Dupper, Hogan Ricks and Steven Cleek each had two one baggers.
Robbie Fields and Braxton Brewer each had a double.
For the Diamondbacks, John Michael McKissack had a double and scored twice, along with a single. Griffen Steelman had three base hits, while Alec Holloway and Benny Brown each had two singles.
Cubs 6, Cardinals 2
Troy Harris had a triple, while Hunter Hammack, Carson Blankenship and Cody Wood each had doubles to lead the Cubs to a win.
Hammack also scored a run and knocked in two more.
Jarad Gunn had three singles, while Samuel Ward added two more.
For the Cardinals, Jorden Robinson and Austin Hamm had triples, while Robinson added a double. Thomas Penton and Jake Gassaway also had doubles.
Mets 17, Indians 1
The Mets pounded out 27 hits in the blowout.
Phillip Summerford had a triple, double, two singles, scored twice and knocked in two more in the win. Tyler Phillips homered, singled three times and scored four times, while knocking in three, Prestyn Wallace had four singles, scored four times and had an RBI, while Riley Wiggins doubled, had three singles, scored three times and knocked in three more.
For the Indians, Mason Norman had a triple and a double. Spencer Appleton scored a run on Graham Vice's single.
Yankees 18, Red Sox 8
Thomas Fleischman had two doubles, two singles, scored four runs and knocked in four more in the 10-run win.
Ty Pendley had two doubles, scored twice and had four RBIs, Kyle Kulick had a triple, double and single with two runs scored and four RBIs, while Brandon Long had four hits, scored four runs and knocked in four more.
Easton Chenault had two triples for the Red Sox. Chenault also scored two runs and knocked in three more.
Jake Whitt doubled, had two singles with two runs scored and knocked in two more, while Seth Ramey had two singles and scored twice.
Yankees 12, Mets 10
The two teams combined for 22 runs on 36 hits in the slugfest.
For the Yankees, Thomas Fleischman had two doubles, two singles, scored three runs while knocking in five runs. Brandon Long had a double, two singles, four runs scored and an RBI, while Tom Chapman had four singles, one RBI and three runs scored.
Hunter Smith, Kyle Kulick, Mitchell Warren and Austin Stewart each had two singles apiece.
For the Mets, Phillip Summerford, Prestyn Wallace, Dillon Durand and Tyler Phillips each had two singles each, while Wallace and Durand also had doubles.
Wallace scored three runs, while Wiggins and Justing Gault knocked in three more apiece.
A's 12, Rockies 0
The A's held the Rockies to just four hits in the win.
E.J. Turner had a home run, two singles with three runs scored and four RBIs for the A's, while Carter Harrison doubled twice, scored twice and knocked in two more.
Dillon Campbell had a triple, double, single and scored twice. He also had two RBIs.
Tyler Legg, Garrett Sutton, Luke Sutton and Michael Kent each had singles for the Rockies.
Astros 10, Red Sox 5
Brady Wallace had a triple, double, and two singles while scoring twice and knocking in four runs for the Astros.
Blaine Holt and Daniel Hundley had one double apiece.
Aaron Baker and Hundley had three singles apiece, while Jacob Pohl, Holt, Deajay Klett and Dylan Thompson had two base hits each.
For the Red Sox, Easton Chenault notched two triples and a single to go along with two runs scored and an RBI.
Diamondbacks 8, Indians 0
No Diamondback had an extra-base hit, but had 16 singles in the win.
Will Payne, Alec Holloway and Benny Brown had three singles each, while Griffen Steelman and Nicholas Hillman had two apiece.
Payne scored three runs, while Holloway and Brown both had three RBIs.
Mason Norman had a double for the Indians, while Joe Yeager and Graham Vice both had two singles apiece.
Rangers 11, Cardinals 9
Hunter Livingston tripled and Zane Hamlett doubled for the Rangers in the win.
Hamlett also had two singles, scored twice and knocked in six more.
Forest Anders and Levi Tapscott had three singles apiece, while Tillman Landers, Kade Chaney and Christopher Grey had two singles each.
Anders scored three runs, while Livingston knocked in three.
Austin Kent, Thomas Penton, Nicholas Walls, Jacob Stewart and Garrett Marsh each had doubles for the Cardinals.
J.R. Tanner had a triple, while Jake Gassaway added three singles.
Braves 15, Cubs 0
The Braves held the Cubs to just six hits while racking up 18 of their own.
James Glenn homered, tripled and scored two runs. He had four RBIs.
Alston Howard, Quintin Dupper, Brandon Roberts, Hogan Ricks and Garrett Fowler all tripled. Roberts, Fowler and Howard also had two singles each.
Carson Blankenship and Jack Slate each had two singles for the Cubs, while Zack Wilson and Hunter Hammack also had base hits.
