Funeral for Allie M. Borden, 84, of Decatur was Saturday, April 5, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with the Revs. Buel Bennett and Randy Coker officiating.
Burial was in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Borden died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born July 11, 1918, to Jim Morgan and R. Della Stover Morgan. She was a homemaker and a member of Valhermoso Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Borden of Decatur; five sons, Thomas Borden of Falkville, Jackie Borden of Elkmont, Roger Borden of Hatton, Stanley Borden and Donald Borden, both of Decatur; five daughters, Carolyn Cottingham of Decatur, Mary Miller of Athens, Clara Lang of Madison, Brenda James of Falkville and Debra James of Hillsboro; one brother, Rudolph Morgan of Eva; 29 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers were also grandsons.
