Willie Olen Dixon

A graveside service for Willie Olen Dixon, 76, of Hartselle was Friday, March 28, at Oak Ridge Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Fuller officiating with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Dixon died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Parkway Medical Center. A native of South Carolina, he worked construction and was a pipe fitter. He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #377.
He is survived by one son, Butch Dixon of Hartselle; one daughter, Peggy Dixon Geer of Hartselle; two brothers, John Dixon and Grover Dixon, both of South Carolina; three sisters, Louise Dixon and Beulah Barefoot, both of South Carolina and Laura Self of Virginia; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rickey Driver, Josh Driver, Mitchell Driver, Zachary Sparkman, Steven Geer and Boone Dixon.
