Troup, Streling wed March 22
Julie Wynne Troup of Huntsville and David Shawn Streling of Hartselle were married March 22, 2003 at Whitesburg Baptist Church.
Minister Joey Coots, uncle of the groom, officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John and Beverly Troup of Huntsville. The groom is the son of David and JoNell Streling of Hartselle and Mark and Kathy Converse of Hartselle.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Rachel Bates of Erie, Colo., was matron of honor.
Rachel Sullivan of Atlanta and Sheryl Prater, sister of the groom, of Hartselle were bridesmaids.
Kayla and Kylee Coots, cousins of the groom, of Hartselle and Caleah Green, cousin of the bride, were flower girls.
David Streling, father of the groom, was the best man.
Joshua Converse, step-brother of the groom, of Hartselle and Chad Troup, brother of the bride, of Nashville were groomsmen.
Brock Garrison, cousin of the groom, of Danville was the ringbearer.
Adam Brown of Hartselle, Corey Loney of Danville, Benjamin Grimm of Hartselle, and Justin Nesmith of Hartselle were ushers.
Music was provided by trumpeter David Spencer and the Blossomwood String Quartet.
Wedding director was Wanda Johnson. Wedding coordinator was JoAnna Koonce.
Laura Posey of Nashville kept the bride's book.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.
The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica. They will reside in Huntsville.
A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom's parents on March 21 at the church.
McBay, Damron wed Feb. 2
Elizabeth Lee McBay of Hartselle and Mark Stratton Damron of Birmingham were married Feb. 8, 2003 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.
Rev. Mark G. Prestriedge and Mr. Thomas McCord Sachs officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry LaDon McBay of Hartselle.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Proctor Damron of Shoal Creek.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore a formal gown of white duchess satin accented with platinum embroidery and silver bugle beads. The strapless gown, richly embellished with scrolling embroidery and adorned with demi-bugle beads, featured an elongated waistline emphasized with a narrow band of embroidery. The full ball gown skirt of satin fell from inverted, boxed pleats and swept into a cathedral-length train. Her veil of imported French tulle featured a platinum hand-rolled edge delicately sprinkled with rhinestones and held by a handcrafted bridal tiara of sterling silver, rhinestones and pearls.
Brittany LeRoy Terrell of Florence was matron of honor.
Leslie Michelle Jordan of Florence, Kristy Lemmond McKinney of Florence, Leslie Adair Willard of Decatur, Melissa LeAnne Sirasky of Florence, and Anna Marie Halbrooks of Hartselle were bridesmaids.
Paul Hunter Damron of Birmingham, brother of the groom, was the best man.
Brandon LaDon McBay of Hartselle, Sean-Paul Radke of Orlando, Aaron Michael Sanders of Birmingham, Joseph Olan Stubbs of Florence, and Jared Michael Shull of Birmingham were groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Burningtree Country Club.
Music was provided by soloist and guitarist Matt Sirasky, pianist Brian T. Murphy, and organist Ellen Bean.
Wedding coordinators were Cherie King, Amy Robinson, and Amy King.
Laura Ray kept the bride's book and Leah Ballard distributed programs.
Ashley Brown and Allyson Brown served the bride's cake.
Jana Legg and Diane Legg served the groom's cake.
The couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica. They now reside in Florence.
