Funeral for Minnie Griffith Pollard, 79, of Decatur was Tuesday, March 25, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ralph Henderson and Tommy Smothers officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Pollard died Saturday, March 22, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. A native of Morgan County, she was a retired cosmetologist and the wife of her first husband, the late Arthur "Trump" Griffith. She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Odie C. Pollard; two brothers, William E. Lorance of Midwest City, Okla., and James R. Lorance of Decatur; and three sisters, Virginia Stringer Green of Decatur, Frances M. Bishop of Las Vegas and Mary Ann Entrekin of Valley, Neb.
Pallbearers were Jason Gerstman, Lamar Gerstman, Keith Bishop, Glenn Free, John Berry and Gary Stringer.
