Hewey Wayne Sanford

Funeral for Hewey Wayne Sanford, 61, of Littleville, was Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with the Rev. Amos Hood officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Sanford died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at his residence. A Morgan County native, he operated Catfish Heaven Restaurant in Russellville for 27 years. He was the widow of his first wife, Sina Greenhaw Sanford and the brother of the late Dewey Sanford, Jeanette Haygood and Lorene Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Sanford of Littleville; one son, Paul Sanford of Littleville; one daughter, Tammie Sanford Cole of Phenix City; four brothers, Buford Sanford of Somerville, Melvin Sanford of Hartselle, William Sanford and Steve Sanford, both of Danville; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Terry Whitlock, Steven Morrow, Douglas Morrow, David Murphy, Scotty Roberson and Marvin Long.
