The banquet, complete with Mardi Gras decorations and attendees sporting brightly colored beads, marked the changing of the guard in the chamber's presidency. The chamber also presented its annual business and volunteer awards.
Out-going president David Langston presented the gavel to in-coming president Larry Hannah. Hannah said he hoped to capitalize on the work Langston and the chambers did in the past year, and continue to improve for the future.

Other officers for the year are: John Anderson, chairman-elect; Leigh Clemons, treasurer; Lynn Warren, secretary; and David Langston, past-president. Chamber president is Susan Hines and executive assistant is Maryann Smith.
