Funeral for Gertrude Eddy Prater, 90, of Danville was Tuesday, March 11, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Francis Proctor officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery, south of Danville.
Mrs. Prater died Saturday, March 8, 2003, at SunBridge Care &Rehabilitation of Decatur. A native of Lawrence County, she was a homemaker and attended the Church of God.
She is survived by three sons, Edward Prater, Howell Prater and Danny Prater, all of Danville; one daughter, Evelyn Prater Steele of Danville; seven grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Colton Prater, Keith Prater, Rickey Steele, Phillip Steele, Mike Kurtz, Randy Heatherly and Mike Smith.
