Edward Parker

Funeral for Edward Parker, 59, of Falkville was Tuesday, March 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Milan Dekich officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mr. Parker died Sunday, March 9, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. A native of Morgan County, he retired from the Army after 22 years and was a Vietnam veteran. He later worked at General Electric in Decatur. He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10774 and a lifetime member of Disabled Veterans of America.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Parker of Falkville; two sons, Shannon Parker and Shane Parker, both of Hartselle; one brother, Charles Parker of Decatur; and five grandchildren.
