Crestline taps science winners

Crestline Elementary School recently held its annual science fair. This year's theme was "Stars Fell on Alabama."
About 100 posters were submitted at each grade level. Three local astronomers were among the judging teams. They were Loren Ball, from Emerald Lane Observatory 843, Wayne White, and Jim Lewis. These gentlemen helped judging teams make sure that information on the posters was scientifically accurate. Winners are:
First Place: kindergarten, Grant Seguin; first grade, Jamie McKelvy; second grade, Ethan Carnes; third grade, Kaylon King; fourth grade, Cory Livingston; fifth grade: Ali Lemmond.
Second Place: kindergarten, Autumn Barnette; first grade, Jordan Wade; second grade, Carter Harrison; third grade, Aaron Wooley; fourth grade, Seth Wiley; fifth grade, Josh Kent.
Third place: kindergarten: Holly Hunter; first grade, Kelsey Rae Walling; second grade, Heather Vinzant; third grade, Isaac Robinson; fourth grade, Caty Matthews. Fifth grade, Taylor White
