Hayner named to honor roll
A Hartselle resident was recently named to the A-B honor roll at the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind. Jennifer Hayner was named to the A-B honor roll.
Tittsworth on UM honors list
Jeffrey Tittsworth was recently named to the dean's list at the University of Maryland. To be named the dean's list, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5.
Tittsworth is the son of Jim and Tiffany Tittsworth, formerly residents of Hartselle, and the grandson of Willie A. Tittsworth, a resident of Hartselle for more than 80 years.
Area residents honored at UA
Several local students were recently named to the dean's list and president's lists at The University of Alabama.
Named to the president's list were:Andrea Holcomb, Eva; Sarah Adair, Derek Calvert, Margaret Hendrix, Destiny Palik, Evelyn Penn and David Ross, all of Hartselle. To be named to the president's list, a student must earn a 4.0 grade point average.
Named to the dean's list were: Kevin Bowling, Danville; Candice Neal, Eva; Jonathan Case, Richard Clemons,Jennifer Halbrooks, Tiffany Markham, Alyson McFee, Eric Olive, Jonathan Stone, all of Hartselle.
