Funeral for Bobby Martin, 73, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. WG Henry and Dr. Ralph K. Bates officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Martin died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Hartselle, having graduated from Morgan County High School in 1947. He worked for Decatur Iron and Steel for six years, worked for NASA for 16 years and worked at Boeing 18 months. He joined Hartselle Real Estate as a Realtor in May 1969, and presently was the owner of Martin Appraisal Service. He served as Hartselle City Councilman for eight years, was a former member of Hartselle Kiwanis Club and currently was a member of Hartselle Civitan Club.
