Local entrepreneurs still have an opportunity to invest in Hartselle's newest business.
International Hotel Management and Hartselle Hearth L.L.C. will break ground on Country Hearth Inn, located at I-65 and Highway 36, by March 1.
W.P. Brennan, president of International Hotel Management, said the $1.6 million, 40-room hotel with pool, meeting room, and exercise room is projected to open by late summer.
"We want people to be aware that opportunities to invest in Hartselle's newest hotel are still available," Brennan said. "The biggest draw for local investors is the chance to promote growth in their own community and to be vested in the success of a Hartselle business."
The city of Hartselle has built service road access to the hotel site and provided utilities. Brennan said the long-range industrial and commercial development Country Hearth Inn could bring to Hartselle will be an important factor in increasing sales tax revenue for the city.
Local investor Scott Stone said he agrees with Brennan and thinks the hotel will spur an abundance of growth in Hartselle.
"Being at such a prime location, I believe the hotel will not only pull travelers in from the interstate, but also attract new restaurants and retailers to Hartselle," Stone said.
Anyone interested in investment opportunities with Country Hearth Inn can contact Mayor Clif Knight at Hartselle City Hall for contact information.
