McBay, Damron to wed Feb. 8
Mr. and Mrs. Barry L. McBay of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Lee McBay, to Mark Stratton Damron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil P. Damron of Birmingham.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray of Hartselle and Mr. and Mrs. Buford L. McBay of Athens. She is a 1998 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of North Alabama with a degree in social work. She is also a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority at the University of North Alabama.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas V. Curtis of Birmingham, the late Gomer D. Evans, Mildred C. Damron of Atlanta, and the late Henry O. Damron. He is a 1994 graduate of Shades Mountain Christian School and a 1998 graduate of Samford University with a degree in business management. He is also a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at Samford University and is currently employed with Campus Outreach at the University of North Alabama.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003 at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle.
Mangham, Kirby to wed May 31
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mangham of Somerville announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth Ellen Mangham, to Joseph William Kirby, son of Brian and Cynthia Kirby of Lacey's Spring.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Albert P. Brewer High School. She is currently a student at the Univesity of North Alabama, majoring in English. She is employed by Tanner United Methodist Church in Tanner as a youth minister.
The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Albert P. Brewer High School. He graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 2001 with an associates degree in video production. He is employed by Fox 54, WZDX-TV, as a broadcast engineer.
The wedding will be May 31 at Tanner United Methodist Church in Tanner.
