Funeral for William Joe Hormel, 74, of Summerford Nursing Home, was Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Hormel died Sunday, Dec. 22, at Summerford Nursing Home. A native of Morgan County, he was a roofer for a repair company. He was a Baptist and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the brother of the late Grace Holloway.
He is survived by his sister, Clara Hormel of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were David Starr, Lowell Starr, Justin Roper, Gene Roper, Ronald Black and Greg Holloway.
