Lemmond, McKinney wed
Kristy Erin Lemmond of Athens and Jonathan Curtis McKinney of Russellville were married Nov.16 at 11a.m. at First Baptist Church in Florence by the Rev. Henry Morris.
Parents of the couple are Marshall Dale Lemmond of Florence and Lena Hughes Lemmond of Athens and Mr. and Mrs. John Harold McKinney of Russellville.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of white embroidered satin accented with alencon lace and crystals. Designed with a scalloped neckline, the gown featured beaded spaghetti straps.
Its focal interest was a fully embroidered scalloped waistline that fell over an A-line skirt with an embroidered back skirt on the chapel train. An embroidered wrap trimmed in alencon lace and crystals accompanied the gown.
A bridal band of crystal beads and rhinestones held her fingertip veil of French tulle. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
Lynna Bryson Stubbs of Florence was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Laura Ann McKinney, sister of the groom, of Russellville, Karli Lemmond Ragsdale, cousin of the bride, of Barnwell S.C., Elizabeth Lee McBay of Hartselle, Kassandra Autumn Sharp of Decatur, Callen Leigh Casey and Angela Rozelle Wren, both of Birmingham, Leslie Michelle Jordan, Melissa Smith Sirasky, Julie Marie Thompson, and Tugba Kosebas, all of Florence.
Junior Bridesmaids were Grace Catherine Beer and Hannah Marie Beer of Florence. Flower Girls were Irene Gabriella Beer of Florence, Brittany Alyssa Collins, Madison Taylor Collins, and Sims Kathryn Ragsdale, all cousins of the bride, of Barnwell, S.C.
Honorary bridesmaids were Lisa Still Collins and Joni Horton Dial, both cousins of the bride, of Barnwell S.C., Julie Caroline Flowers of Sheffield, Lyndsie Brooke Mitchell of Muscle Shoals, Meredith Grey Bass, Kimberly Arleen Mason, Bonnie Brooke Ruf, and Amy Marie Speakman, all of Athens.
The bridegroom's father was best man.
Groomsmen were Micah Shaw Lemmond, brother of the bride, of Athens, Jared Wayne Burks, Clinton Patrick Carter, and John Nolan Nichols, all of Birmingham, Mac Wallace Hellums and Brian Armand McGuire, both of Red Bay, Joseph Daniel Grant Porter and John Bradley Batchelor Reeves, both of Russellville, Joseph Olin Stubbs and Richard Chad Walker, both of Florence.
Junior groomsman was Jordan Alexander Beer of Florence. Ring bearer was Kyle Nicholas Horton, cousin of the bride, of Barnwell, S.C.
Music was provided by Beth McBay and Matt Sirasky, soloists; Elizabeth Marchman, pianist; and David Lawrence Connor, trumpeter, cousin of the bride, of Barnwell, S.C.
A reception was given at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club in Florence where guests were entertained by the sounds of the Harvey Thompson Band.
Mark and Kim Elder of Florence were wedding directors.
Leslie Johnsey of Florence kept the bride's book.
The couple took a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico. They will reside in Florence.
