A.A. 'Kil' Kilpatrick

Funeral for A.A. "Kil" Kilpatrick, 82, of Hartselle was Monday, Dec. 9, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. WG Henry and Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens with military honors.
Mr. Kilpatrick died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. A native of Florida, he was a member of First United Methodist Church and retired as an electrician from Wolverine Tube. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific with the 82nd Chemical Mortar Battalion. He was a member of American Legion Post 52, where he served as coordinator for Kids' Day. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10774 and was a trustee for three years.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Kilpatrick of Hartselle; one son, Jeffrey Lynn Kilpatrick of Hartselle; one brother, Denmark Kilpatrick of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, Elizabeth Norris of Andalusia and Syble Cooper and Sarah Norris, both of Panama City, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Jones, Mike Edge, Charlie Morris, Jeremy Kilpatrick, Paul Kilpatrick, Ed Summers, Paul Weinman and Bobby Looney.
