Raley, Heatherly wed Aug. 3
Mandy Michelle Raley of Danville and Carey W. Heatherly of Danville were married Aug. 3 at noon at Chalet Mountain Wedding Chapel.
The bride is the daughter of Ray and Sandra Latta of Danville.
The groom is the son of Randy and Debbie Heatherly of Danville.
The bride chose a formal gown of ivory silk chiffon and re-embroidered Venice lace. Designed with a jewel neckline, the gown featured a lace adorned, delicately beaded, sheer yoke of organza.
The soft A-line skirt of organza was bordered with a band of lace at the hem, garnished with appliques of lace and swept into a chapel train.
Her veil of imported French tulle was banded with sheer organza and delicately sprinkled with crystals.
It was held by a bridal tiara of pearls and rhinestones. The bride's flowers were a bouquet of cream roses.
The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The couple now resides in Alabaster.
A reception was given at the Red House Grill in Hartselle on Aug. 25 by the parents of the couple.
Serving at the reception were Kim Livingston, Karen Melson, Janna McCann, Geneva Dollar, Robin Dollar and Bridget Steele.
The couple was honored with several pre-nuptial events, including:
A bridal tea was held July 21 at the home of Karen Melson with Shelby Melson, Bobbie Bolan, Debbie Heatherly, Kim Livingston, and Geneva Dollar assisting.
A bridal tea was held Aug. 11 at Danville Baptist Church by the ladies of the church.
