Millard A 'Mutt' Williams

Funeral for Millard A. "Mutt" Williams, 81, of Falkville was Friday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m. at Corinth Methodist Church with the Revs. Rusty Hodges and Sandra Locke Godbey officiating.
Burial with full military honors were in Corinth Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Williams died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at his residence. A native of Morgan County, he was the widower of Jannett Carr Williams and brother of the late Guy Kermit Williams, Reford Williams, Ora "Toosie" Hogan, Hazel Byrd and Ruth Williams. A U.S. Army World War II veteran, he received the Purple Heat. He was a member of Pleasant View Holy Church of Christ.
He is survived by two sons, Millard David Williams and Reford Allen Williams, both of Falkville; four daughters, Judy Diane Keenum and Terry Deanise Weaver, both of Falkville, Deborah Nell Kilpatric of Moulton and Ziva Ann Sherrell of Vinemont; 11 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; one great grandson; and 11 step great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tony Cole, Danny Williams, Barry Williams, Ray Harville, Charles Quattlebaum and John Richey.
