Sanda Kay Bearden Drinkard

Funeral for Sandra Kay Bearden Drinkard, 58, of Gulf Shores, formerly of Morgan County, was Monday, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 26, at New Life in Christ Church in Foley.
Ms. Drinkard died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, in Mobile. A native of Louisiana, she moved to Gulf Shores after retiring from the Morgan County Sheriff's Department. She was the daughter of the late Hugh Bearden.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Drinkard Murphy of Hartselle and Suzette Bartlett of Lillian; her mother, Kay Bearden of Foley; one sister, Janice Knowles of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; two stepbrothers, Al Hughes of Decatur and Forrest Hughes of Nebraska; and her stepmother, Jean Bearden of Priceville.
Pallbearers were Robert Drinkard, Buddy Roberts, Al Hughes, David Murphy, Tommy Knowles and John Howell.
