Funeral for Judy Denise Smith, 31, of Hartselle was Monday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde W. Smith officiating.
Burial was in Raper Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at her residence. A native of Morgan County, she was a housewife and was of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of Christopher Dale Smith Sr.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Dale Smith, Jr., of Hartselle; her father, Jimmy Dale Bales of Kalamazoo, Mich.; her mother, Wanda Lee Bales of Decatur; three brothers, Jimmy Lee Bales, Jerry Lee Bales and Shawn Bales, all of Decatur; and grandparents, Elmer and Anne Ruth Knighten of Decatur and William and Valley Hughes of Danville.
Pallbearers were Jerry Bales, Shawn Bales, Michael Rich and Steve Dietz.
