On Oct. 4-5, the National Standridge Reunion will be held at the Holiday Inn Express in Cullman. This is the first time this meeting has been held in Alabama and we urge all Alabamians with Standridge ties to be there. A tour to each cemetery as well as informative meetings are planned. For additional information call 429-3137 (Billie Ann Standridge).
Oct. 4
A Brewer High School class of 1982 reunion is planned for Brewer homecoming on Oct. 4. Saturday morning there will be a golf tournament at Quail Creek at 7:30 a.m. shot gun start. A family picnic will start at noon at Quail Creek. Lunch will be available for $7 or you can bring your own. On Saturday night there will be a party at the Huntsville Marriott with Dinner/horsdoeuvres and the "The Scratch Band." Working on the reunion are Scott Fowler, Connie Cook, Neysa Johnson, Kent Chambers 796-2508, Annette Clark 353-2989. Class members are still searching for the following graduates: Terry Beshears, Marsh Blanks, Joyce Chatman, Terri Conley, Djuana Davidson, Teresa Foster, Jerry Green, Shelley Mackey, Karen McAnally, Sharon McAnally, Carol Patterson, David Phillips, Jerry Pritchett, Mary Toney, Larry Watts, Chuck West, Gina Wilson, John Baggett, Carl Couch, Lisa Deckard, Cheryl Green, Jerome Hanby, Rhonda Talley, Dana Twig, David Wright, John Yoder, Celeste Adkins, Billy Briscoe, Linda Callahan, Steven Duke, Nevis Hankins, Richard Nipper, Mark Owens, Angela Watson. If anyone knows the whereabouts of any of these people contact one of the above class members.
Oct. 5
Wilbanks "Hillbilly" Reunion is set for Oct. 5 starting at 10 a.m. at Bethsadia VFD in Cullman. For details, call Penny at 739-5329 or 339-4948. Lunch will be at noon and photos taken at 1:30 p.m.
