Sept. 28
The Worthington-Climatrol annual reunion picnic is scheduled for Sept. 28 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Wolverine Park. Lunch will be served at noon. Cost is $6 per plate. Send reservations and money to Trillis Hightower at P.O. Box 345, Danville, AL 35619. For more information, call 462-3557.
Descendants of Arthur C. and Lillie Hill will gather Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. at the old homeplace at Neel. Bring a covered dish and lawn chair. For more information, call 351-9537.
Oct. 4-5
On Oct. 4-5, the National Standridge Reunion will be held at the Holiday Inn Express in Cullman. This is the first time this meeting has been held in Alabama and we urge all Alabamians with Standridge ties to be there. A tour to each cemetery as well as informative meetings are planned. For additional information call 429-3137 (Billie Ann Standridge).
Oct. 4
A Brewer High School class of 1982 reunion is planned for Brewer homecoming on Oct. 4. Saturday morning there will be a golf tournament at Quail Creek at 7:30 a.m. shot gun start. A family picnic will start at noon at Quail Creek. Lunch will be available for $7 or you can bring your own. On Saturday night there will be a party at the Huntsville Marriott with Dinner/horsdoeuvres and the "The Scratch Band." Wilbanks "Hillbilly" Reunion is set for Oct. 5 starting at 10 a.m. at Bethsadia VFD in Cullman. For details, call Penny at 739-5329 or 339-4948. Lunch will be at noon and photos taken at 1:30 p.m.
