After five years of not stepping on a volleyball court, Tanya Lybarger has decided it's time to return.
Lybarger took control of the Hartselle Lady Tigers volleyball team this summer and already has high expectations.
"Our goal is to reach state competition," she said. "Last year the team was runner up at area. This year, we want to win our area."
Last year the team was under the direction of Johnny Berry. Before Berry, Lybarger was the coach.
"I coached for five years and then took five years off," she said. "I had expressed interest in wanting to coach again and I kind of fell into it."
