Jimmy R. Thompson

Funeral for Jimmy R. Thompson, 54, of Falkville was Friday, August 23, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Lovelace officiating.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital.
A native of Morgan County, he was an employee of Wolverine Tube in Decatur for 34 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Falkville.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Smith) Thompson of Falkville; one son, Patrick Alan Thompson of Falkville; five brothers, Hugh Thompson, Harlan Thompson and Michael Thompson, all of Hartselle, Jerry Thompson of Falkville and Ronnie Thompson of Trinity; and two sisters, Rebecca Shelton of Cold Springs and Brenda Norman of Falkville.
Pallbearers were Wesley Lawrence, Jay Thompson, Tony Thompson, David Shelton, Jay Bell, Stan Smith, Jarrod Thompson and Ross Murphy.
