Paul David Vaughn

Funeral for Paul David Vaughn, 77, of Decatur was Tuesday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Jim Moebes officiating.
A private burial followed services.
Mr. Vaughn died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. A native of Morgan County, he retired after 25 years service as a faculty member at Brewer High School. Before his years at Brewer, he was employed at Decatur Iron and Steel Co. for 25 years. He also was a welding instructor at Calhoun Community College.
He received his bachelor's degree from Athens State College and his master's degree from Alabama A&M University. Mr. Vaughn also received diplomas and certificates of distinction for his studies through the Howard College Extension Division of Samford University. He was a Mason, a member of The York Rite Masonic bodies of Decatur and a Shriner.
He is survived by two sisters, Virginia Davidson of Decatur and Lorene McAnally Martin of Somerville.
