The partners of La Premier Eight et Forty express their appreciation to the staff of the Hartselle Enquirer for the support given to the club during the past year through publishing our monthly meetings.
We would like to say a special 'thank you' to Leada DeVaney and Jack Greenhill. They have given excellent coverage to the various projects we have been involved with.

I'm writing this letter from the heart of a Nana, as well as other grandparents and parents on the sideline.
There was a play-off game on Thursday afternoon to see who would be number one and number two. These little sweeties played their hearts out for this game. They both wanted to win, but only one could. No problem with that fact.
The heartbreaker came when one team did win, that team was presented trophies, while the other team got to watch and receive nothing. My heart fell when all those little children watched.
I'm not a sore loser and I present my case even if my team had won. Both of these teams deserved to be recognized and I believe this decision comes from the commissioner of the league. I've been there and I know what you are under, but next year play this game with your heart and the children's feelings in your hand.
